About the Instructor: Todd Lorenc was born and raised in Joliet, Illinois. Armed with a talent for art from age three, he studied his craft throughout his school years and on into college. As a graduate of Chicago’s American Academy of Art, Todd took a job with an advertising agency in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. He was involved with the design of McDonald’s Happy Meal toys. Many of those designs were of Disney characters set to coincide with the release of movies.

A resident of Dixon since his marriage in 1997, Todd enjoys creating murals, caricatures, portraits, landscapes, cartoons, and comics.
