Sculpture, Clay, & Fiber Show now on display
Show runs from April 18 through May 9, 2008.
The Sculpture, Clay and Fiber Show is all about texture
and the magic of mass and form! This show investigates the increasingly
important role of ceramics and fiber in contemporary and traditional
art. Using recent technological advances and working contemporary
concepts, wood, metal, ceramic and fiber artists are building on each
medium’s rich tradition to create new and innovative work!
A reception kicked off the show from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 18 at the gallery. The attendence was well over 200 people.
The students of Mari Jo Schuneman of Reagan Middle School are featured in the lower level of the gallery. Other students had an open mic night with the readings of their own poetry and songs.
