29th Nuts About Art Show: Outdoor show

This is the 29th anniversary of this show. Formerly a Haymarket Guild of Artists' event, The NEXT PICTURE SHOW has been running this juried art show for 4 years. It is held at John Dixon Park in Dixon, Illinois, during Petunia Festival week. The show has 50-65 fine artists of both 2D and 3D media.

Deadline for entry April 16, 2010.

An exhibition on the theme of waterways.

This is a 2D show. No photography, please.

62nd Grand Detour Art Festival

The 62nd Grand Detour Art Festival has posted the prospectus/application to this wonderful outdoor fine art show.   The Village of Grand Detour is the setting for one of the oldest art festivals in Illinois.

Grand Detour and the entire surrounding community embrace this annual event with great enthusiasm. The festival is sponsored by Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital.

Our Student Art Exhibit is sponsored by Sauk Valley Bank & Trust Co. The number of student entries has grown tremendously, and the exhibit brings many families to the festival. Student artwork and awards are coordinated by The Next Picture Show.

Pink Palette

Show runs October 1 - November 2, 2010.

Make it pink! This show is a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness month with all proceeds going to our local branch.  The public will be this juried show’s judge and critic.  Cast your vote for your favorite painting and raise money for this worthy cause.

Photography is welcome.
