Let your creativity flow this fall by taking advantage of two unique artistic experiences in your own back yard.

The Next Picture Show, 113 W. First St., announces fall adult art classes, titled “6x6x6.”

The “6x6x6” classes will run six weeks with six different instructors teaching six different ways to make art. Seating is limited in each class.

The classes, which are for everyone from beginners to more advanced artists, start Sept. 10 and run through Oct. 22. Tuition is $115 for TNPS members and $125 for non-members. The cost covers all classes and includes all supplies.

“We did a similar program this summer for kids, and it was a huge success,” said Bonnie Kime, the gallery’s executive director. “So we thought we would extend this opportunity to adults. Some of the finest artists around are teaching these sessions. They have a lot of fun with these classes, and they make them meaningful experiences for their students.”

The classes will meet from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Mondays in the lower gallery at The Next Picture Show.

The schedule includes:

• Sept.10 – “Drawing” with Debbie Thompson
• Sept. 17 – “Gourd Painting” with Marijo Schuneman
• Sept. 24 – “Metal Work Jewelry” with Mike McNamara
• Oct. 1 – “Working in Pastels” with Gerry Larson
• Oct. 15 – “Mask Making from Around the World” with Heidi Palmer
• Oct. 22 – “Memory Boxes” with Joann Hamer (students need to bring photographs)
