The Next Picture Show will celebrate natural wonders with its River Reflections show from Jan. 4 through Feb. 13.

The show, consisting of 2D and 3D works, will feature artists’ interpretation of the beauty and strength of the waterways and eco-systems in their lives.

A reception will kick off the show from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 4 at the gallery, 113 W. First St. The public is invited to stop by, meet the artists and enjoy the exhibit. The show’s sponsor is 101.7 River Country.

“Rivers large and small often serve as inspiration for many artists.This show captures an element of nature in many beautiful and interesting ways, ” said Bonnie Kime, executive director of The Next Picture Show.

The lower level of the gallery will feature work from Deb Cleary’s classes from Amboy High School and Amboy Junior High School, 5th-8th grades. Also, work from students of TNPS art classes and workshops will be on display.

Don’t forget to stop by and check out the featured member artists whose work is displayed at the front of the gallery. Debbie Thompson will be featured Jan. 1 to Jan. 15; Jayne Rose will be featured Jan. 16 to Jan. 31; and Rick Munson will be featured Feb. 1 to Feb. 15.
