Farms & Barns II Winners Announced |
Best of Show: Mahopac Barn
One of the most popular exhibits at The Next Picture Show will stage a repeat performance this year. Farms & Barns II opens Sept. 14 with a public reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The show runs through Oct. 16 at the gallery located at 113 W. First St. The public is invited to stop by, meet the artists and enjoy the exhibit.
“We had such an overwhelmingly positive response to the show last year, we knew we had to do it again,” said Bonnie Kime, executive director of the gallery. “This area has strong roots in agriculture and expressing that connection through art is fascinating.”
The show explores the variety of ways farms and barns and the region’s agrarian history inspire and inform artists’ work.
